View source for Roland SRX series

The '''Roland SRX''' series is a line of expansion boards produced by Roland for [[Roland XV series]] synths. Some other Roland products are also compatible with them.<ref name=support-compatibility>SR-JV80 and SRX Series Expansion Board Compatibilty [sic] (Roland support article).</ref> Each board provides new samples and instrument patches, including drumkits.

Its predecessor is the [[Roland SR-JV80 series]], which is incompatible. Some synths have slots for both SR-JV80 and SRX expansions.<ref name=support-compatibility></ref>
