The Roland SN-U110 Series of expansion cards are small, card-shaped expansions meant for use with the Roland U-20, U-110, U-220, CM-32P, D-70 and MV-30 synthesizers. This allowed users to expand their synthesizers with sets of sounds not available in the ROM.

How these sounds can be accessed differs per synth used. Some pick them up straight away while others require manually loading the sounds in, and how many expansions could be utilised also differs between models.
