The Roland SR-JV80 series is a line of expansion boards produced by Roland for Roland JV series synths, starting with the JV-80. Some other Roland products are also compatible with them, e.g. certain Roland XV series synths.[1] Each board provides new samples and instrument patches, and usually also drumkits.

Its successor is the Roland SRX series, which is incompatible. Some synths have slots for both SR-JV80 and SRX expansions.[1]

The set of patches provided by the board may differ depending on the synth it is installed in. For example, SR-JV80-04 has different patch lists for the JD-990 versus the JV series,[2] and SR-JV80-06 has different patch lists for JV-80/880/90/1000 versus JV-1080 and XP-50.[3]
